Bio:
Kelly Walsh was a master of the grill. He had been practicing
professionally since 1975 when he started selling his own kind
of
sausages while a student at Whitman College.
Since then
his home-made Walla Walla Sweet Onion Sausage have become a
local "institution" and according to fans, it just keeps
getting better
every year.
While the
Walsh family sell their sausage at most Walla Walla Valley
events, for the past nine years they have become a mainstay at
the
downtown Walla Walla Farmer's Market.
They have
also opened a new storefront in the heart of downtown Walla
Walla on First & Main. The walk-up window is in the historic
Sayer
Building. This gorgeous building formerly housed the Beehive Store
from
1897 to 1977.
If you're
coming to visit Walla Walla for any of the fantastic events
that our little town is becoming famous for, you'll have to stop
in and
get a fresh-off-the-grill, Walla Walla Sweet Onion Sausage!
You could
even pick up a couple of frozen five packs to take back to
your home town to share with your friends and family. |
